**Jenny welcomed her second son on May 15, 2017 and is enjoying maternity leave through the summer. She plans to return to her yoga classes and nutrition practice in the fall.**

Nutrition

Jenny provides Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for weight loss, heart disease, high cholesterol, hypertension, diabetes and pre-diabetes, and various GI disorders.  MNT involves the assessment, intervention, and treatment of a disease or condition through healthy diet.  Jenny also provides counseling to individuals who are simply looking to use diet to optimize their wellness, including pregnant women and people who are physically active.

Nutrition appointments are held at The Wellness Center in Goodyear, AZ.

Initial Consultation – 1 hour

Initial consultations with Jenny are one hour long and involve a detailed assessment of many aspects of your life including diet, physical activity, medical history, daily schedule/family life, medications/supplements, and medical history.  Based on this assessment, Jenny develops an individualized plan to help you reach your goals. 

Cost: $120.00 (Fee for service; no insurance accepted.)

Follow-up Appointment – 30 minutes

Follow-up appointments involve reassessment and monitoring of your progress.  Goals are reviewed and successes and barriers are discussed.  Education and encouragement is provided to continue you toward your health goals.   Follow up appointments are available via telephone as well.

Cost: $60 (Fee for service; no insurance accepted.)

Bundle package: A package of three follow up appointments is available for $150 (a savings of $30).  These appointments must be used within three months of purchase.

Yoga

Jenny teaches both group and private yoga classes for adults.  In her classes she emphasizes connecting with the present moment through integration of breath, body and mind.  She believes that by taking time out of the day to practice yoga, we are revitalizing our whole being so that we may be our best at home and work. Her teaching style is influenced by the union of breath and movement through vinyasa flow, as well as the precise alignment principles of Iyengar. Jenny considers yoga to be a practice for absolutely everyone and focuses on keeping her classes fun and engaging for all levels.

She teaches group classes at The Wellness Center and Ignite Yoga.  Visit the calendar for class day and times.
